Dean Professor Dr. Ahmet BİLGİN
He was born in Silvan district of Diyarbakır in 1953. He completed his primary education in his country and secondary education in Kahramanmaraş. In 1978, A.Ü. He graduated from the Faculty of Law. He served in Germany in 1979, in Belgium in 1980 and in the Netherlands in 1981.
In 1982, D.Ü. He started the Faculty of Law as an assistant and completed his master's degree and attorney internship. In 1983, he was sent to Benelux countries for research by the University, and again he went to London for literature study in 1985. In 1987, he attended the 5th Islamic Summit in Kuwait as a guest of honor. In 1988 he joined the OECD's Public Administration program in London on behalf of DPT and received a certificate. Meanwhile, he made investigations in the biggest municipality of England, Hammersimith.
In 1989, he became a law doctor. In the same year, he participated in JICA program of Japan and received a certificate. He took part in the city planning commission in Yokohama and Hiroshima. He worked as a coordinator at all COMCEC meetings and the 20th conference of foreign ministers in the years of 1985-1994. . the MED-URBS, and ED-NET organizations were represented Turkey.
He became an associate professor in 1995. He was elected as a member of many European organizations and the World Water Council. He was elected the most successful Mayor of the year in 1997. He also received a special award in 1998. In 2000, he was appointed as a Faculty Member of Kırıkkale University Faculty of Law. He became a LAW PROFESSOR in 2003. He continues to serve as a lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the same university and as the Head of the Department of Public Law.
He speaks English, French, Arabic, Persian and Ottoman Turkish.
